Another couple of Eliotisms

This morning, I was sort of talking outloud, trying to figure out what I'd make for dinner. I showed Eliot my list, and told him we'd be having omlettes.
"Mmmmm! Omlettes!" *pause* "What does omlettes mean?"

And just to show how far he's coming in terms of making full sentences, the other day we were at the playground with my friend Geraldine and her daughter Keira. I asked Eliot if he wanted to go up the ladder and then down the slide like Keira, who was climbing up the ladder, and he said, "I think Keira is already up there, mommy."

Also, he tends to put his -ing in the wrong place. He is not waking up, he is "wake upping". I love what he comes up with!
