Aix-en-Provence

(Pronounced "Ex on Provence")
As some of you may remember, Aix is where I studied abroad for one semester, in spring of 2004. Through a series of statistically outlying events, I met, fell in love with, and married Frederic all because a guy named Guy Albert didn't answer his phone, and Papick Bracco did.

It was great to go back and re-explore the city. The same people were selling the same whatsits and trinkets in the market, and this time I had a bit of money to buy some things!

Spices
Dried tomatoes, and instructions on how to prepare them
A guided tour taught me more about the city than I ever learned while living there.

La Rotonde
