Photographing Babies: a practical tip

Well, Eliot is a cutie, that's for sure. But some of the pictures I've taken of him don't necessarily reflect that. Mainly, I am getting a lot of the "multiple chin" phenomenon. This occurs when a very well-fed baby tilts his head down slightly, causing rolls of chubbiness to bunch up and give him a half dozen chins.

Solution?

Instead of taking pictures by leaning over from baby's feet, lean over from above baby's head! He will be forced to tilt his head back to see you, and in addition will open his eyes wide to look up at you. No more multiple chins! Just one cute chin, big open eyes, handsome cheekbones for kissing, and crazy hair!
