That's what our little baby's heart says on the ultrasound! We got to not only see but hear the baby's heartbeat today at our appointment, a very good sign! Our due date is confirmed of March 5, 2009, and the little one, about an inch long, is doing great. Here is a picture! The line across the body was to measure the length (crown to rump length).

We discussed our plans to do a birth center birth and to continue most of our prenatal care with a sage-femme, and she was ok with that and will still be doing our ultrasounds- 13 weeks for down syndrome testing, 20 weeks for morphology, and 36 weeks for position check (which seems a bit excessive, but is required for out of hospital births here).

According to the doctor's scale, I'm starting about a kilo lighter with this pregnancy than with Eliot's, but I'm sure 3 weeks in CA will fix that!!! My appetite has also been coming back with a vengeance over the last few days, which is a very good change compared to the lack of appetite/nausea of the last few weeks.
