Japan
My friend Elisabeth just sent us a care package from Japan! Among the strange salty/sweet snack foods were these two baby shirts! The elephant one is my particular favorite. The weird thing is that they seems really WIDE. I mean, we all know (gross generalization following) that Japanese people are pretty skinny, so she must have bought these shirts from the Sumo baby section. At any rate, they'll fit this big American baby just fine!

That's so funny about them being really wide. We've found that the clothes we've received from CH and Ireland are all super long and very narrow. And A is already long and skinny, but some of these things will barely fit around her, even tho the arms and legs are super long. Have you noticed that from CH vs US clothes yet?
How funny! I've heard about this before - a Japanese friend of mine complains that it's hard for her to buy baby clothes for friends here, because European babies are so much skinnier than Japanese babies. Who would have thought?
