Monday, we spent the day at the Pont du Gard, the tallest Roman aqueduct known, standing at almost 50m. This aqueduct, built in a mere 14 years in the middle of the first century AD, was used to bring water to the Roman city of Namausus (now Nimes), from a source located 50km away.
This structure was built to support the pipeline over the Gard river valley.
As you can see from this picture, baby B is definitely growing according to schedule. 15 weeks left!
